Suzuki refreshes Vitara Brezza

Maruti Suzuki, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese car manufacturer, has revealed a facelifted version of the locally-sold compact crossover vehicle Vitara Brezza. The car is already available via pre-orders starting at U.S. $11,000.
The vehicle sustained no changes in the exterior appearance, but now takes advantage of a broader body color palette. For instance, there is a new vivid orange lacquering which should become pretty popular and help us tell the next generation from the previous one. Apart from that, each updated Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza sports a set of new 17-inch wheels and a chrome-coated radiator grille.
There is a bit more going on under the hood. The main improvement is a new DCT transmission available alongside the old manual box. The car still ships with the old 1.3-liter turbo diesel engine only good for 90 hp (67 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb·ft) of torque. At some point in the future, however, Suzuki Vitara Brezza will also ship with stronger 1.5-liter gasoline engines.
Last but not least, Maruti Suzuki no longer sells the most basic specification, offering several more expensive, better-equipped variants instead.
