The Japanese carmaker has launched pre-orders for its all-new mild-hybrid crossover – the XL7 – in Indonesia. The first shipments will be made in Q1 2020.
The Suzuki XL7 is essentially a seven-seat version of the XL6 van with some styling cues borrowed from the best-selling Suzuki Ertiga. It comes powered by a naturally aspirated engine rated at 105 hp (78 kW) and a 48V starter-generator add-on. All the manufacturer did was redesign the front end and both bumpers, as well as add wheel arch extensions and upgrade the lighting to LEDs.
The crossover comes front-axle driven and features AEB, two airbags, a touch-enabled infotainment display, cruise control, climate control, and rear parking sensors. Paid options include leather seats, 360-degree cameras, rain sensors, and light sensors.
