The Japanese manufacturer describes the car as a ‘crossover with compact van levels of practicality.’
In terms of design, the newcomer looks very similar to the Ertiga/XL6 microvan models currently available in India. It also comes based on more or less the same tech, including the 1.5-liter non-turbo engine rated at 105 hp (78 kW), front wheel drive, and five-speed manual transmission (four-speed automatic available as an option).
The cabin boasts three seat rows arranged in a 2+3+2 layout. Options here include engine start button, HVAC, a multi-function steering wheel, and a touch-based entertainment system display.
The 2020 Suzuki XL7 will be available in select Asian countries only; the pricing will be announced later.
