All 150 Rimac C_Two hypercars have been completely sold out – and it doesn’t even exist yet

As we told in an earlier story, the most recent Geneva International Motor Show became the destination for the premiere of an all-new Rimac C_Two hypercar. Apparently, the entire limited series of 150 vehicles has been sold out completely via pre-orders within the three weeks that followed.

Perhaps most notably, the car hasn’t even made it past early design stages. It should proceed to its first road tests late this year and only go into production in 2020. Until then, it basically exists as an exorbitantly expensive empty space in your garage.

The power-hungry Rimac C_Two comes equipped with four electric engines together capable of a mind-boggling 1,914 horsepower (1,427 kW). This passionate equine legion accelerates it 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under two seconds, doesn’t hit the speed ceiling until 412 km/h (256 mph) and lets it travel up to 650 kilometers (~400 miles) before recharge.

Each Rimac C_Two could be purchased at € 1,700,000 and more, with the top trim version having been offered for full € 500,000 above that sum.
