Many brand fans rejoiced when Sony unveiled the Vision-S EV in early 2020, despite the tech company’s assurance that it would never actually take it into production. As it turns out now, the design study continues running road tests for inexplicable reasons.
The latest bunch of spy shots stems from a racetrack. Sony did mention before that it intended to turn the Vision-S into a laboratory on wheels, so maybe it is using the car to perfect some of its other developments, such as gesture and voice control support, eye-tracking cameras and semi-autonomous driving solutions. In an earlier statement, the company also mentioned an intention to introduce certain gaming features into the infotainment systems of its make.
