Indian automaker Tata Motors announced the start of official sales of its new crossover Nexon. The prototype of this model was presented as far back as in 2014, and two years later the public was shown a car, almost ready to go into the series. However, another year has passed before the start of sales.
Tata Nexon received at its disposal two power units - a gasoline three-cylinder unit of 1.2 Revotron, which produces 110 horsepower and 1.5-liter 1.5 Revotorq diesel of the same power. However, whichever motor is installed, the machine will be exclusively front-wheel drive, and the box will be mechanical. By the way, Tata Nexon boasts a rather high ground clearance - 209 millimeters.
If we talk about "stuffing", the basic version of the "SUV" will receive the ABS + EBD system, air conditioning and a pair of airbags. More affluent buyers will be able to purchase Tata Nexon equipped with an infotainment system with a touch screen, climate control and a rear-view camera.
If we talk about the price, the petrol version of Tata Nexon costs 585 thousand rupees at home. Diesel will cost more than 100 thousand rupees.
