The government of India has passed a law according to which all new vehicles passing Bharat NCAP crash test certification are obliged to have a sticker on them with the safety rating printed on it when they are shipped to dealerships.
What you see here is the approved design of the sticker. Bharat NCAP certification has been functioning in the country since last October, but only three cars have passed it to this date – all of them Tata SUVs. All three received five stars out of five for front passenger safety and child safety.
