Tata updates the Harrier and the Safari

Indian corporation Tata Motors has unveiled the facelifted Harrier and Safari SUVs for India, landing both with small design improvements and superior fuel economy, Autocar India reports.

The old 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine rated at 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) remains largely the same, but the fuel consumption is a little lower, per the manufacturer. Other than that, the 2024 Tata Harrier boasts smaller headlights and slimmer DRLs now connected with an LED strip. The radiator grille, the bumpers and the taillights have been reworked as well.

The main interior highlights for both models include a new digital dashboard, a new wheel and a bigger infotainment display. The climate control system is now touch-controlled.

The Tata Safari boasts a new radiator grille pattern and headlights. The cabin gets the same scope of updates as the Harrier, plus some new trimming materials.

All prices will be revealed before the end of the month.
