Tesla has upgraded the software of all of its electric cars to version 10.0. Let us briefly glance over the highlights.
The new software expands the area of effect of the Summon function, which you can use to ask your car to drive closer to you using your smartphone. The new range amounts to 100 feet (approx. 30 meters).
Owners now also have access to a full-fledged karaoke player with lyrics displayed on the main multimedia screen. You can also now watch such video streaming services as Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu, but only as long as the car remains parked.
Finally, the navigation software now supports making a route to a randomly chosen point of interest within the area, such as a tourist landmark or a random food outlet.
