Tesla has rolled out a software update for its cars in China and used the occasion to also present the TeslaMic, a set of two microphones for in-car karaoke.
The set comes in at 1,199 Chinese Yuan and is already sold out in the only market it is currently available in. Once turned on, the mic automatically syncs with the infotainment system and offers a feature set typical of a karaoke mic, such as multiple sound presets.
Tesla says the reason it presented the mic is that karaoke is highly popular in Asia.
