A video has surfaced online confirming the rumors that Tesla Inc. has been working on an all-electric public transit bus. The poster claims it was shot in the headquarters of The Boring Company, Elon Musk’s other company specializing in underground tunnels.
The shuttle bus features a transparent glass exterior and accommodates 11 passengers in addition to the driver. The seats are all separate from each other and installed to face each other. On the whole, the visualization stays true to the digital sketches that Tesla posted online a few years ago.
It is perhaps too early to talk about mass production. At the same time, Tesla continues work on a more traditional electric MPV, which it envisions with unlimited electric range – at least, in theory.
