California-based Environmental Democracy Project is accusing Tesla of persistently violating the clean air legislation.
According to the organization, it has registered hundreds of cases of harmful emissions from the paint shop at Gigafactory Texas throughout its five years of operation.
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) supports these charges. On May 2, the organization announced that it would pursue a court decision to ban the emissions.
