Bosnian tuner Stark Solutions has spent eight months to convert a Ford F-150 Raptor into a well-proportioned, well-appointed Tesla Cybertruck imitation – but the project revealed serious issues inherent to the design of Elon Musk’s boxy pickup.
When the team began working on the project in January 2020, they thought the main challenge would be fabricating smooth and properly shaped stainless-steel doors. However, actually making the car road-legal in Bosnia and Herzegovina proved much more difficult – in fact, downright impossible due to its sharp edges posing a major threat in the event of colliding with other vehicles or pedestrians.
The most obvious takeaway here is that Tesla will likely have to redesign its truck before bringing it to countries in Europe where it has no market prospects in its current form.
