The original Tesla Cybertruck (shown here) debuted nearly two years ago, but the company has only officially finalized its design and body dimensions now.
Specifics remain unknown. Elon Musk promised earlier that the car would look barely different from the original concept and only 3 percent smaller. The original dimensions were given as: L=5,885 mm (230 inches), W=2,027 mm (79 in/) and H=1,905 mm (74.5 in.). Air-ride suspension can raise the ground clearance to 406 mm (16 inches).
Depending on the electric motor count (from one to three), the Cybertruck should be able to sprint 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 2.9 – 6.5 seconds.
Around a week ago, Tesla CEO admitted that ongoing deficiency of electronic components forced the company to postpone the production of the truck until 2022.
