Tesla pulls all Cybertruck release information from website

You will no longer find any dates or even estimates on the Tesla official website hinting at when the long-overdue Cybertruck may reach the market. CEO Elon Musk also stays eerily silent.

The truck was originally unveiled over two years ago. Some outdated scraps of information can still be found, and placing a pre-order for $200 USD is still available, but the price lists have been dashed.

Tesla has an extensive track record of suddenly raising the prices of its cars and otherwise failing to deliver on their promises, including those concerning the pricing. The Model X is one good example: when the time came for the SUV to go on sale, the company de-listed all previously announced configurations and replaced them all with a single top spec named Plaid. As a result, the six-seater ended up costing its buyers an extra $6,000 USD.

We will be monitoring the situation and will publish a follow-up article if anything clears up regarding the Cybertruck.
