According to InsideEVs, Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted his impressions on X after testing a particularly powerful version of the Tesla Cybertruck, claiming it took things to ‘a brand new level.’
That said, the company is still keeping the parameters of the standard pickup version secret, let alone the performance spec. Rumors have been circulating for a while that it will get more power and torque than the base spec, but that’s about it.
When asked by a user whether there would be a Tesla Model 3 Plaid designed in the same vein as the Moel S Plaid, Musk answered negatively and proceeded to reveal that he was driving a high-end Cybertruck modification the other day.
This statement may not be much to go by, but InsideEVs believes that the company is indeed testing a particularly powerful Cybertruck – a recent spy video of a straight-line acceleration test conducted on the Gigafactory grounds seems to confirm it.
