A video has recently appeared on YouTube showing a drag race between a Tesla Model 3 Performance, a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and a Mercedes-AMG E 63 S. The race commenced on a runway.
The Jeep SUV draws its power from a 6.4-liter V8 engine rated at 482 hp (359 kW) and 637 Nm (470 lbft) of torque. It needs less than five seconds to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).
The Mercedes sedan/saloon packs a 4.0-liter V8 TT capable of 612 hp (456 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lbft) of torque. It manages to hit 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
The purely electric Tesla Model 3 Performance sedan concludes the abovementioned sprint in 3.5 seconds and maxes out at 249 km/h (155 mph).
