Tesla Model 3 gains new features in the Track Mode Package

Back in 2018, Tesla Model 3 Performance owners got an over-the-air update called the Track Mode, which introduced torque control and regenerative brake adjustment features. Now, the company follows up on that update by throwing in some optional hardware.

The new Track Mode Package includes Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (245/35 R20) tires as a replacement for the standard Pilot Sport 4S (235/35 R20) set, performance brakes for the front axle, and carbon-fiber hubcaps. The latter option can be already purchased separately for 300 USD; pricing and availability for the rest are pending.

The Model 3 Performance has permanent AWD and hits 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) in mere 3.2 seconds. It maxes out at 161 mph (260 km/h) and has up to 499 kilometers of EPA-rated range (310 miles). Prices in the United States begin from 56,990 USD before subsidies.
