Michael, from Canada, has turned his Tesla Model 3 into a snowmobile to try and descend a snowy slope while enjoying proper traction.
Mullin Manufacturing, which carried out the conversion, fitted the rear axles with snow tracks. Overall, the plan was a success: the Model 3 only struggled on one particularly steep part of the track.
The Tesla used for the project is a $40,000 USD Standard Range Plus spec that sprints 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 5.6 seconds, hits the limit at 158 mph (255 km/h), and gets 250 miles (400 kilometers) of driving range from a single charge.
People who have watched the video on YouTube (33,000 views and counting) have some funny suggestions for Michael, such as turning his Model 3 into an electric sleigh or making a snowmobile out of the Cybertruck.
