Startech launches its Tesla Model 3 body kit

Following the first 3D sketches of its upcoming Tesla Model 3 styling package in the beginning of the year, German tuner Startech finally brings it to the table.

This is the first attempt by Startech, a sister company of the well-known tune-up shop Brabus, to reimagine a U.S.-made all-electric vehicle. Despite this, the kit looks quite well executed on many levels. The front clip with its faux grille and air intakes looks especially good to us, and the new hood gives off subtle Porsche Panamera Turbo S vibes. The wheel arches and sides become wider and the skirts longer. The rear gets a relatively modest diffuser insert along with a large ducktail spoiler spanning the entire width of the car and extending as far as the rear doors.

Those willing to buy a Tesla Model 3 by Startech may opt for custom wheels (depicted here is one possible example) and a full interior makeover.

In the end, we are inclined to say the tuner has struck the golden middle between the classical and the modern; by all indications, the kit should enjoy brisk sales.
