The author of this snapshot showing a half-covered Tesla Model 3 claims it is the new facelift version that the company has yet to reveal. There is no proof at this point, but Carscoops seems to believe it is indeed real.
See for yourself: the front bumper, the fenders, the hood and the headlights are all new. Furthermore, the exterior seems to be in line with the spy shots of camouflaged prototypes from before, although the scope of changes is greater than we assumed.
The facelifted Model 3 is expected to go into production in California and Shanghai this fall. It is expected to undergo structural modifications aimed to facilitate the industrial processes and cut costs. Tesla never commented on whether the car would become cheaper for us consumers, though.
