The Tesla Model 3 facelift is coming to the market after all, as evidenced by a single spy shot focused on the rear end of the car. Note the black wrap around what looks like new taillights.
The EV manufacturer remains tight-lipped about the alleged ‘Project Highland’, which multiple insiders have mentioned as being the long-anticipated Model 3 facelift project.
As you can see, the front fascia is disguised as well, but the rear section at least lets you zoom in on the taillights and confirm that their patterns are significantly different from the current modification (see video).
Other than that, the rough body outlines seen through the wrap suggest that the Model 3 will get a new rear diffuser like the one on the Model S. Optimized aerodynamic performance should enable it to cover more ground on a charge.
