Tesla Model 3 claims leadership on the national market

Tesla Model 3 has been the most asked-for electric vehicle in North America in 1Q 2018, Inside EVs reports quoting its own market research data.

A total of 8,180 all-electric cars have been sold in the U.S.A. since the beginning of the year. Tesla has managed to surpass even the popular Toyota Prius Prime in terms of sales numbers. Analysts tend to agree that the vehicle’s popularity is largely due to its attractive pricing scheme. The entry-level model can be pre-ordered at as little as U.S. $35,000, which placing it among the most affordable cars in its market segment.

The power engine of the new Tesla Model 3 can deliver up to 262 hp (195 kW). Depending on whether you get it with a 50 kW·h or a 75 kW·h battery set on board, it’s going to be able to travel up to 350 or 500 kilometers (approx. 217 or 310 miles) before discharge, accordingly.
