Spofec dials up the elegance factor on Rolls-Royce EV

Novitec subsidiary Spofec has wrapped up work on its first fully electric Rolls-Royce: the Spectre coupe. It wound up with a stylish-looking body kit, aerodynamic wheels and a fresh interior makeover, but no powertrain tweaks.

The idea was to lend the car an aura of refined understatement. A front splitter, extra DRLs and subtle bumper inserts achieve this goal at the front end. The sides make do with slightly longer skirts, and the rear end gets a modest-sized spoiler and a couple extra diffuser fins. Spofec claims that, however tame the body kit may look, it fulfils the practical functions of keeping the downforce high and the drag low.

Looking inside the arches reveals 24-inch Vossen SP3 wheels we’ve already seen installed on the tuner’s other project cars. They come in whopping 72 finish options and feature a somewhat polarizing “moon disc” design. If it’s not your cup of tea, your other option is called SP2 – it’s a more traditional-looking wheel set with nine pairs of spokes.

A 35mm (1.4-inch) drop in suspension height rounds off the exterior modifications. The cabin is also bespoke with posh Tiffany Blue leather wherever you look. The electric powertrain continues to send its usual 584 PS (576 hp / 430 kW) to the wheels along with 895 Nm (660 lb-ft) of torque.
