Tesla is firmly in the lead in this year's ranking of American vehicles with the most domestic parts.
Tesla dominates the first six lines of the ranking. Its Model 3 Performance in particular is recognized as the most American car on the market with 87.5% of all parts manufactured either in the United States or Canada.
The Ford Mustang GT V8 also performed rather well with a localization rate of 80%, and the U.S.-made Honda Passport won the prize for the most domesticated model from a foreign automaker (76.5%).
