Here comes decidedly one of the more unusual conversions of the Tesla Model S. Businessman Trevis Rabenberg has managed to turn his ride into a motorhome, complete with a toilet, a kitchen sink, and a folding bed.
The unique Tesla Roamer will celebrate its first public outing at the World Expo 2020 show in Dubai, UAE.
Aside from the abovementioned things, the Tesla Roamer packs a solar panel array that can produce up to 1,000 watts of power.
The car comes powered by an all-electric powertrain churning out 691 hp (515 kW) and can accelerate up to 240 km/h (150 mph), thus crediting Rabenberg with the honor of building one of the world’s fastest-going motorhomes ever. It offers around 320 km (200 miles) of driving range.
In an earlier news, RemetzCar has managed to convert a Tesla Model S into an estate/wagon by extending its undercarriage, moving the pillars and windows, and remodeling the roof.
In its top P100D trim, the stock Tesla Model S packs two engines combining their efforts for 700 hp / 522 kW. The car only needs 2.3 seconds to get from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) and only hits its speed ceiling at 250 km/h (155 mph).
