CarWOW has arranged a drag race between the range-topping Model X P100D, Model S Performance and Model 3 Performance, evaluating their acceleration and braking capabilities on wet tarmac.
The Model 3 is the lightest of the trio and comes equipped with dual motors rated at 496 hp (370 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) total. It weighs in at 1,847 kilograms (4,072 lbs) and starts from £53,000 in the UK.
The Model S liftback is considerably heavier at 2,241 kg (4,940 lbs), but it packs a whopping 836 hp (623 kW) along with 1,300 Nm (960 lb-ft) of torque in its latest version. The £93,290 price tag reflects the performance bump quite adequately.
The Tesla Model X brings 806 hp (600 kW) and 1,140 Nm (841 lb-ft) to the table and weighs 2,497 kg (5,505 lbs). Prices begin from £97,900.
