These guys from Russia have risked much when they arranged a simultaneous run of a Tesla Model S doing 250 km/h (155 mph) and an Aero L-29 “Delfin” trainer jet.
The duo had to block a federal airport runway for the adrenaline stunt. The most difficult part was to make the electric car hit its speed limit and then brake down to zero on a strip only 2.5 kilometers (1.55 mi) long. Another serious challenge was to equalize the speeds of the jet and the car so that they would move in unison for a while.
