Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing, a subsidiary of the Swedish hypercar maker specializing in the production of carbon fiber parts, has signed an agreement with Unplugged Performance, a renowned Tesla tuner. Koenigsegg making aero kits for North American EVs? Color us impressed!
All Tesla car owners can now order aerodynamic components that only the best hypercars used to be outfitted with and have them installed on their electric rides. Unplugged Performance admits that the pricing is a bit on the luxury side, but the products on offer are both exclusive and efficient. KAM employs a number of innovative approaches in its industrial processes and is famous for its unique KNC material also known as ‘the purest carbon’.
The list of available body kit parts will continue to grow. In the meantime, Tesla Model 3 owners may ask Unplugged Performance for a $1,745 spoiler kit. Model S drivers may upgrade the front fenders for $8,845, while those who opted for a Model X may outfit it with a spoiler duo for $2,495.
