The AutoTopNL team has gotten its hands on a Tesla Model S Plaid and let it run wild on a German speedway. Have a look yourself, you will be impressed.
The Plaid sedan packs massive 1,034 metric horsepower (that’s 1,020 American hp or 760 kilowatts) and zaps 0-100 km/h in around two seconds. The example in the video has been additionally upgraded with a package called Track, so it is even more impressive than that. In fact, it smashes through the 322 km/h (200 mph) mark in the video.
AutoTopNL was able to launch the Model S in 2.35 seconds and complete the initial quarter-mile run in 9.33 seconds going at 243 km/h (151 mph) at the finish. The electric car needed just 6.41 seconds to reach 200 km/h (124 mph) from standstill.
