Tesla Model X claims another drag strip victim, and it’s a supercar yet again

When talking about the world’s fastest production cars, there is no avoiding the elephant in the room that is the Tesla Model S Plaid. Its crossover cousin, the Model X Plaid, is no slouch itself.

The video puts the X against a Lamborghini Huracan Evo, which packs a 5.2-liter V10 with 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW). The Tesla is much more powerful with its trio of electric motors churning out 1,020 PS (1,006 hp / 750 kW). It also benefits from instant torque. Both have AWD, but where the Huracan Evo pulls ahead is weight: the Tesla is much heavier.

As one would expect, the EV won both races rather effortlessly, finishing them in under 10 seconds. Watch the video to see just how far behind the poor Lambo was.
