The standard dash cams all Tesla EVs ship with often become the source of wacky and sometimes crazy YouTube videos. The latest catch, however, is not a road incident, but a prototype Tesla Model Y.
Since the car has no wrap on, it looks like the premiere is right around the corner. The company says the affordable electric SUV will accommodate up to seven passengers and have at least 300 miles (480 kilometers) of range when fully charged.
It should also be noted that Tesla has been besting its own records lately, having sold 97,000 cars worldwide in 3Q 2019, including 79,600 of the affordable Model 3. Introducing a cheaper SUV in the lineup should enable it to bolster sales even more.
