This is what the Tesla Model Y looks like when lowered

U.S. electric car maker Tesla had only just begun shipping its long-awaited Model Y before the coronavirus crisis struck and disrupted the supply chains. Let us see what those lucky enough to have got their own copy of the SUV do with it.

This specimen stems from tuner Unplugged Performance. HyperCo, a suspension vendor for F1 racecars, has already designed two lowering kits for the model, called Mild and Moderate Dual Linear. You can see the latter in action in our gallery.

Aside from the stance, Elon Musk’s latest EV gained an Ascension R rear wing made of carbon fiber and lost its badges at both ends.

By the way, the vehicle depicted here is a Model Y AWD. Its rear-axle driven counterpart was originally expected to emerge before the end of the year, but the nCoV-2019 threatens to push those plans back into 2021.
