China-based tuning company Pu.Labo has unveiled a tuning kit for Tesla EVs that can be used to raise the ground clearance of Model Y and Model 3. According to InsideEVs, it comes bundled with new, grippier tires that unlock new off-road opportunities for both cars.
The shipment includes new front and rear subframes, special shock absorbers and other relevant suspension components. Once installed, the lift kit can be tuned within the range of 2–5 inches (51–127 millimeters). All-terrain rubber is listed as a paid option.
The whole package costs a cool $15,000, but the first buyers will get a $3,000 discount. The company claims that it has tested the modifications on thousands of kilometers of actual dirt roads, sandy terrain, and even launch ramps.
The powertrain and the AWD system stay untouched.
