A prototype version of the Tesla Model Y, rumored to be called Project Juniper in-house, has just been caught on camera in California. It wore some partial camo at the ends, suggesting that the company could be updating it in the same vein as the Model 3 sedan before it.
The interior isn’t visible in the only photo made so far, but we can safely look forward to the same updates as the Model 3, including the removal of steering wheel stalks.
Tesla ECO Elon Musk said a while ago that a new Model Y wasn’t coming in 2024, so we will likely have to wait until the next year for it to arrive.
