It is official that the tow truck comes powered by quad motors capable of taking it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in five seconds, or 20 seconds if you add 40 metric tons (88,000 lbs) of cargo. The standard version is expected to make 483 km (300 miles) on a charge, while the Long Range spec should be capable of 805 km (500 miles). Having said that, Elon Musk was looking into extending the range to around 1,000 km (620 miles) or more.
In its most basic form, the Tesla Semi will cost $150,000. The tom trim will retail for $180,000.
