The entire property of Local Motors, including two Rally Fighter cars and other exotic movie vehicles, will be offered for purchase at an auction starting on March 15, 2022.
Local Motors was found insolvent last month after failing to develop a viable self-driving vehicle prototype. It was primarily known for its participation in the Fast & Furious movie franchise, as well as various racing video games. Its property will be sold in 443 separate auction lots.
There are two rally cars in the listing: one finished in black and the other one in red, white and blue. The former draws its power from a 6.2-liter General Motors V8 and has a front winch and a LED bar on the roof. The latter packs 6.6 liters of displacement.
Other notable offerings include a 2015 Local Motors Swim convertible, a Strati EV, and a dozen of Olli microbuses that the company had hoped to use as autonomous taxis.
Various industrial equipment will also go on sale simultaneously with the cars. This includes the 3D printer that Local Motors used to print the bodywork for its vehicles, as well as individual units and components of its self-driving system.
