This for-sale Chevy C10 nails down restomod aesthetic

The practical and affordable Chevrolet C10 has enjoyed an iconic status in the United States for more than half of a century now. Even today, tuners sell these for a nice premium as restomods. This example strikes us as particularly beautiful, and it’s up for grabs over at Bring-a-Trailer right now with the bidding at $37,000 and three days left.

An uncredited aftermarket shop restored the body in all black and painted the cabin white for contrast. It modernized the suspension using a four-link setup for the rear end and coilovers at all four corners. A peek behind the spokes of new 18-inch forged wheels reveals slotted/perforated disc brakes from Baer. The listing also mentions power steering, so the truck should really handle like a modern one.

A look inside reveals black leather upholstery on a bench seat, Vintage Air climate control and Dakota Digital gauges. The odometer shows only 135 km (84 miles) after the restoration that saw the truck’s stock engine replaced with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8. The mill is naturally aspirated and pushes its standard number of horses to the rear wheels using a four-speed AT.
