Toyota
presented to the general public its new development - an ultra-small electric
car. The novelty was named Concept-i Ride, and its presentation will take place
at the October 25 auto show in Tokyo. In addition to small dimensions, the
machine boasts doors that open upwards. According to the company, their
creation is intended specifically for people with disabilities.
In the car
there are places for landing two people, as well as a special compartment
designed to accommodate a wheelchair. By the way, the usual steering wheel of
Concept-i Ride is gone. Control is carried out with the help of the joystick,
which also has the functions of gas and brake. The claimed range of the
electric vehicle is 150 km.
