Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has revealed its plans to supply 3,700 environmentally clean vehicles for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. Both the public officials and the participants of the Games will get access to electric and fuel-cell-based cars, buses and scooters.
The company also plans to unveil an SALE Level 4 self-driving car at the Games, rumored to be an improved version of the futuristic Concept-i.
The e-Palette, another self-driving shuttle for up to 20 passengers, will also participate in the logistical part of the 2020 Olympics, carrying sport teams and service personnel to their destinations.
The guests of the Games will be able to book a ride on a nitrogen-powered bus called the Sora, or rent a fuel-cell-powered Mirai sedan.
