Toyota has unveiled its new Wildlander SUV for China. The car is mostly identical to the fifth-generation RAV4 with some new equipment and trim.
The Wildlander sports new bumpers, headlights and fenders, but the rest of its body geometry and kit is RAV4.
The SUV will ship next year in two powertrain versions: gasoline (2 liters, 171 hp / 128 kW) and hybrid (2.5 liters + 2 electric motors, total 222 hp / 166 kW). A seven-speed CVT will send the power to front wheels, and AWD will be available at a premium.
