Toyota FT-AC Concept: Toyota future vision surprises once again

Processes in the automotive industry are constantly evolving, and the designers strive to endow their latest creations with unique exterior and interior features, thus winning new customers through the sheer “wow” effect. The above holds true for Toyota FT-AC Concept, the latest SUV unveiled by the Japanese manufacturer at the Los-Angeles International Car Show.

According to an official statement, the new SUV is a must-have for all fans of active leisure, which often includes off-road driving. To that end, the car receives broad wheel arches, stout body reinforcements and an increased road clearance. To make life simpler for extreme tourism enthusiasts, the Toyota FT-AC Concept gets extra lighting and a roof rack.

The company didn’t provide any details about the technical performance of the car, aside from saying it would get a gasoline engine and a capable 4WD system. A hybrid version of the SUV is currently being considered as well.

There is also an interesting unique feature which many travel bloggers may come to appreciate. A few video cameras, including infrared ones, located inside the mirror holders of the Toyota FT-AC Concept, allow people to record their travelling experience. All footage gets automatically uploaded to a cloud storage from where it may then be published online.
