The Australian division of Toyota showed a teaser of monster track concept, that will be released in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the company and 70-year anniversary of Tonka, issued toy auto trucks. The concept car wil be named HiLux.
The model underwent a set of changes. Engineers changed a suspender and wheels, so that now the huge SUV will be able to climb to conquer the big rocks and steep hills with less effort.Under the hood the new monster truck has got a 2.8-liter turbo-diesel HiLux SR5 engine.
Toyota Australia product design chief, Nicolas Hogios noted: "We expect the extreme style and capability of our re-imagined HiLux will capture the imagination of kids and adults alike. The end result is so exciting because the HiLux Tonka really delivers the dream of every Australian kid who ever wanted such a truck"
Toyota Australia promises to show more detailed information about its novelty in the coming months.
