Hydrogen Toyota Mirai car has faults of electronics

Toyota company recalls all Mirai cars.  There were found several problems in the model  with the output voltage of the fuel cell hydrogen engine.

2843 cars which were sold in the territory of the EU, the USA, Japan and the UAE since 2014 are being discussed now. The company explains that because of misoperation of control electronics there were problems with tension, which appeared when the driver sharply increased speed after a constant speed of the car for a long time. For elimination of defects Toyota is going to reprogram the control box of the hydrogen power plant. It is noted that all procedure in the service center will take no more than 30 minutes and will be free for owners of the hydrogen car.

For the first time Mirai model was presented in November, 2013 at Tokyo Motor Show. The car is set in motion by hybrid installation on hydrogen fuel elements under the name FC stack. Energy is generated through as a result of chemical reaction of interaction of hydrogen and oxygen. Oxidation happens without burning process. With a full tank the power reserve of Mirai makes 480 kilometers. Only five minutes are necessary for the full  refuelling with hydrogen fuel.
