Toyota has joined Ionna Consortium, a company founded in the United States by other automakers seeking to standardize electric vehicle charging.
The first Ionna charging points should become available in North America before the end of summer. The company’s long-term strategy envisions launching at least 30,000 chargers in the USA and Canada by 2030.
All stations will offer CCS and NACS standard outlets.
