Electric Toyota i-TRIL surprises with its unusual configuration of the interior:the driver's seat and two passenger seats, located behind, form a triangle. So, despite its compact size, the car will not make passengers feel uncomfortable, providing them with a decent legroom. In addition, a special function of turning the wheels by 90 degrees, when turning of th engine, will facilitate landing and disembarkation.
Also i-TRIL does not have a steering wheel and pedals. The car is controlled by two joysticks, all other systems provide voice control. Another unusual feature of the car is the "motorcycle" passage of sharp turns, during which the special Active Lean function on the basis of the gyro tilts the body for greater stability. Unfortunately, this "chip" in the serial version of the car will not appear because of its high cost.
Japanese believe that the electric car will be popular with urban residents. It is very compact: the length is 2830 millimeters, and the height is 1460 millimeters. The mass of i-TRIL is about 600 kilograms. The power reserve is 300 km.
