Next-gen Toyota Alphard spied running naked

Shots of the new Toyota Alphard have surfaced online alongside a batch of photos showing its technical twin, the Vellfire.

Compared to the current Alphard generation (see video), the newcomer sports a noticeably larger radiator grille. As for the Vellfire, its grille is marginally smaller and there is an aggressive front bumper with a chrome trim on it and air intakes at the sides. The taillights are likewise different between the two.

Rumor has it both models are now running on the TNGA-K platform used by the second-gen Lexus LM. As such, it is possible that they will receive some of the LM engines as well.

The premiere may take place in July, but there is still no official date.
