Toyota has held a major presentation dedicated to its future all-electric car lineup including mid-size crossover SUVs, sedans, pickup trucks, performance SUVs, and a supercar.
In addition to the current electric SUV, the bZ4X shown in the video here, Toyota will be offering a larger three-row SUV based on the same platform. Some more compact crossovers are underway as well, one with C-HR looks and the other one set to become Toyota’s most affordable EV when it ships.
Next up in line is a sedan called the bZ SDN, which the company says is shaping up to become the best car for beginning drivers. There is also a flagship sports car with an elongated hood and futuristic-looking bumpers, which we can image bearing a Lexus badge. In its production form, this one may be capable of a 2-second sprint and 700 kilometers 435 miles) of range, possibly on solid-state batteries.
Finally, Toyota’s electrification plans also include an urban supermini for big cities (likely Japan/China only) and a petite delivery van.
