Toyota unveils a small electric SUV concept in Los-Angeles

Aside from the fifth-generation Prius, Toyota has brought a smaller crossover SUV concept to the LA show to preview its next entry in the bZ electric car lineup.

Dubbed the bZ Compact SUV, the vehicle sports a curvy and somewhat sculpted body with Prius-style headlights and a fairly aggressive-looking front end. A side view reveals short overhangs. The a- and b-pillars are surprisingly thin, while the c-pillars are thick. The third brake light ban be found on the roof fin, of all places.

Overall, the bZ Compact SUV sticks to a minimalist design with a broad octagonal steering wheel in the cabin and a dash screen protruding from the dashboard. The infotainment system is mounted in the middle, and the gear selector is styled as a small pillar with buttons.

The car has an on-board voice assistance named Yui, who understands voice commands and reacts to them with audiovisual responses.
