Toyota C-HR gains safety options heading into 2021

The Japanese automotive giant has prepared a minor update for its domestically sold C-HR model. Let’s see what’s new and exciting.

The main novelty is called Emergency Steering Assist. The system obtains real-time road situation data and helps you drive around obstacles such as traffic congestions, emergencies etc.

The new assist feature will soon make it into the Toyota Safety Sense system, joining a number of other driver aids such as nighttime pedestrian and traffic sign recognition.

Other notable improvements include heating for the front seats and air ionization.

The refreshed SUV starts from 2,382,000 Japanese Yen. Opting for the hybrid spec adds another 663,000 JPY to that amount.
